Division Merchandise Manager

The Division Merchandise Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving the merchandising strategy and execution for a designated category or division. This role leads a team of buyers/planners and partners with cross-functional departments such as marketing, supply chain, e-commerce, and store operations to ensure category growth, profitability, and alignment with overall company objectives.

• Develop and execute seasonal and annual merchandising strategies aligned with company financial goals and brand direction.
• Lead a team of Buyers and Assistant Buyers to drive assortment planning, pricing, promotion, and vendor relationships.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with Planning and Allocation teams to ensure proper inventory levels and flow of merchandise.
• Partner with Visual Merchandising and Marketing to ensure in-store and online presentation reflects strategic intent.
• Negotiate with vendors for cost, terms, exclusives, and cooperative marketing opportunities.
• Conduct regular business reviews with key stakeholders to track KPIs and adapt strategy as needed.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging consumer behaviors.
