Logix BPO, an award-winning BPO and RPO headquartered in Cebu City with operational teams across the Philippines, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing team!
Responsibilities and Duties
The role is varied and needs someone with excellent organizational skills and motivation to be part of and contribute to an efficient bookkeeping department.
The person will need to demonstrate they are highly ambitious, motivated and driven to provide high quality work and progress within the company.
They will liaise mainly with the bookkeeping manager of the firm and take on various tasks including but not limited to the following.- Attending clients premises to pick up and provide services on site
- Preparing the bookkeeping for a range of clients and industries
- Preparing VAT returns and
- Preparing management accounts for your portfolio of clients.
- Ensuring all VAT work is completed within deadlines.
- Using a variety of software applications to ensure a compliant and efficient service is provided
- Processing of journal entries with advanced understanding
- Reconciling control accounts and preparing supporting working paper files
Qualifications and Skills
This role will suit someone who is outgoing and able to manage a very busy workload, multi-task and work flawlessly under pressure.
The role is for bookkeeping work for a variety of clients and therefore the candidate will need to demonstrate experience and proficiencies across the board.
The ideal candidate will have and show the following:
- Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel in particular (we use the GSuite variant)
- Proactive in their approach to the role and the requirements of the firm
- Ability to communicate and interact with staff and clients on a professional level
- Able to organise, manage and control their own workload and adhere to client and office deadlines and discretion
- Capable of working on numerous clients’ affairs, setting & working to budgets as well as the ability to organise, manage and control their workload whilst adhering to office and client deadlines
- Ability to communicate and interact with clients on a professional level
- Will report to managers and also directly to partners
- Experienced and proficient in working on property development and property investment companies
- Able to take on adhoc projects including due diligence reporting etc
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and management accounts
