The Male Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. He ensures the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and complies with all safety and sanitation standards.The bartender also engages with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and enhance their overall experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve beverages according to standard recipes.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check guest identification to ensure legal drinking age.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area.
- Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Handle cash and operate the POS system for orders and payments.
- Monitor guest behavior and manage intoxicated guests as per hotel policy.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage handling.
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the bar.
- Support other team members in delivering quality service when needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent.
Bartending training or certification (preferred but not required).
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience as a bartender in a hotel, bar, or restaurant setting.Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good memory for recipes and customer preferences.
Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing orders.
Multitasking and time-management abilities.
Personal Attributes:
Presentable and well-groomed appearance.Fiendly, energetic, and team-oriented.
Responsible and honest.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
