Position requires thorough knowledge of civil design and engineering techniques. Responsible to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgement in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of techniques, procedures, and criteria.Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and client's standards.
The Responsibilities:
- Coordinate work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.
- Develop probable construction cost estimates for projects, direct & supervise other Designers/Drafters activities.
- Handle routine contract administration.
- Layout and details portions of projects using schematic layout.
- Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents.
- Perform Civil Engineering design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, prepare project specifications, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Provide drawing for their own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by designers/Drafters.
- Research design options and document findings for the project and review shop drawings.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software & equipment to prepare engineering design documents.
The Work Set-Up:
- Work onsite only
- 8 hour work shift
- Nightshift (8pm - 5am)
- Monday to Friday

Qualifications/Requirements
The Requirements:
- Advance knowledge in Civil Engineering.
- Bachelors degree or in Civil Engineering, with minimum 5 years experience in the same field
- In-depth experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies

Remarks
We are in the outsourcing / BPO industry.
The civil engineer will work remotely with our US-based client. Everything will be done online, but the engineer will work onsite here in our office in Clark, Pampanga.
The client requires that the engineer be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and formal project management methodologies.
