Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Staff Accountant to manage our accounts receivable, billing processes, and financial reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software (particularly ConnectWise and QuickBooks Online), and experience with general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.

Knowledge of 1099 reporting is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee customer invoices accurately and timely using ConnectWise.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including tracking payments, resolving discrepancies, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Perform credit card and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Monitor and reconcile prepaid accounts, ensuring proper expense recognition.
  • Prepare Monthly Financials
  • Manage monthly margin reporting
  • Produce Sales Commission for Account Managers
  • Track YTD Revenue/Margin for all Account Managers
  • Sales Tax -Monthly filing for different states.
  • Financial Reporting.
  • Assist with general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Maintain organized records of billing transactions and customer communications.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist with 1099 preparation and reporting (nice to have).
  • Identify process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in ConnectWise (for billing) and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (AR, GL, balance sheet, prepaids).
  • Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills for customer and internal interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
