Accounting Staff (RFAD in-charge)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute and record all disbursement transactions related to leasing operations.
  • Verify supporting documentation and ensure timely payment authorizations.
  • Enter all received deposits (validated deposit slips from collection team) into the accounting system accurately.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations to verify that recorded transactions match bank statements/ passbooks.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for management detailing disbursements, deposits, and overall financial performance of the business.
  • Oversee the timely collection of rents and other receivables from tenants.
  • Track outstanding receivables and maintain an aging schedule for follow-ups.
  • Collaborate closely with the designated collector to prepare and dispatch demand letters to delinquent tenants.
  • Coordinate strategies to improve collection rates and resolve overdue accounts.
  • Prepare the weekly payroll for RFAD staff and process related disbursements.
  • Ensure proper deductions, benefits, and statutory contributions are accurately computed.
  • Submit payroll batches to the Bank Relations Officer for uploading and coordinate with the Accounting and Finance Manager for final payroll approval.
  • Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions including deposits, disbursements, and payroll activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 1–2 years experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within a leasing or property management environment.
  • Prior experience in payroll processing, bank reconciliations, or accounts receivable management is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines while maintaining compliance and high quality.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams, tenants, and collections.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in processing financial transactions and reconciling bank statements.
