Clinical Documentation Writer (mental health)

We are hiring a licensed mental health professional or medical graduate with a strong understanding of psychological care to support daily clinical documentation. You will draft clinical documentation including assessments and treatment plans, and ensure documentation aligns with U.S. mental health standards. This is not general VA work—we are looking for clinically-minded professionals who can write like therapists.

Preferred Qualifications:

Licensed Psychologist, Registered Psychometrician, Licensed Counselor, or degree in Psychology (BS/MA)OR RN license or Medical Graduate with mental health backgroundExperience writing therapy notes, clinical documentation, or scribingFamiliarity with U.S. behavioral health standards and terminologyExcellent written English and grammar

Responsibilities:

Write and finalize clinical documentation based on audio, written input, or session outlinesComplete assessments, treatment plans, and safety plansEnsure all documentation is compliant, professional, and submitted on timeCommunicate clearly with U.S.-based clinical providers
