Production Supervisor New

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in supervisory or managerial roles, with in-depth knowledge of production management principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies. This position is based in Novaliches, Quezon City, with a Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Job Summary:

The Production Head will oversee the entire production process within the company, ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality across all production processes.
• Collaborate with the Plant Manager to develop and implement effective production plans and strategies.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve workflow and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Lead and manage a factory workforce of approximately 500 personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Sales departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Lead initiatives to optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvement within the production department.

Key job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment, with the ability to step into a managerial position.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of production management principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in optimizing and digitizing production processes or departments is an advantage.
• Proven track record in optimizing production schedules, implementing efficiency improvements, and ensuring strict adherence to quality control standards.
• Must be willing to work in Novaliches, Quezon City.
