Application Engineer (Data Scientist)

Configure and customize the platform to align with client-specific workflows and compliance needs.

Implement and fine-tune data science models, algorithms, and workflows for AML and fraud detection.

Design and optimize data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.

Troubleshoot performance issues related to data ingestion, processing, and platform execution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Enablement, Deployment Engineers, and Product Management, to deliver seamless solutions.

Develop detailed documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides to support client success and deployment efficiency.

Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of the platform.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT or a related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

• 5+ years data-intensive systems.
• Proven expertise in deploying platforms for banks, fintech, or other regulated industries.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Big Data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and ElasticSearch.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with model deployment and optimization for ML/AI workflows.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
• Effective communicator capable of translating technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
• A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments.

Preferred:

• Experience with AML or fraud detection platforms.
