Deployment Engineer

Platform Deployment:

• Perform on-premise and cloud (AWS/GCP) deployments, ensuring seamless integration with client systems.
• Validate system installations through rigorous testing for functionality and performance.

System Configuration & Integration:

• Configure APIs, data pipelines, and system settings tailored to client requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate client data into the platform.

Client Collaboration & Support:

• Serve as the primary technical contact during the deployment phase.
• Provide guidance to client teams and address deployment-related queries.

Post-Deployment Validation:

• Conduct system tests and resolve any issues to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• Document deployment processes and configurations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with product management and engineering teams to address deployment challenges.
• Share feedback and insights to improve deployment processes and product features.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

• At least 6 years of experience in system deployment, cloud computing, or IT infrastructure roles.
• Proven track record in deploying SaaS platforms or big data systems, preferably in financial or regulated industries.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred) or GCP.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid experience in system integrations using APIs and middleware.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple deployments within tight timelines.

Preferred:

• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Big Data technologies.
• Experience with AML and fraud detection platforms.
