Graphic artist (cebu)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and conceptualize visually-pleasing and creative executions for any needed artwork
• Gather information and materials to successfully come up with needed art requirements
• Plans concept by studying briefs provided and other supporting materials
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
• Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment
• Coordinates with accounts and marketing staff to achieve organization's goals
• Attend design workshops; review professional publications; consistently update existing knowledge of graphic trends

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years experience as a creative Graphic Artist
• Preferably a graduate of any course that involves visual arts
• Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
• Accuracy and attention to detail when finalising designs
• Excellent communication skills in order to interpret and negotiate briefs with team
• Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at a time
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.)
• Highly proficient in all design aspects
