Muntinlupa - Accounting Associate

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our Finance team. This role will focus on processing financial transactions related to the company's food group operations, ensuring the accuracy of accounts, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable and Receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate entry related to food group purchases and sales.
• Reconcile vendor statements and manage supplier invoices, particularly for raw materials, packaging, and food inventory purchases.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on food product costs, sales, and margins.
• Assist in inventory accounting, including recording of goods received, goods issued, and spoilage or loss.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all food group-related transactions are captured.
• Monitor and track purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices against contracts and agreements with food vendors and distributors.
• Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure financial data accuracy related to production and procurement.
• Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring supporting documentation is complete for internal and external audits.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts related to food group production and sales.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies or unusual transactions for further investigation.
