Responsibilities:

• Manage insurance verification and benefit information for physical therapy services.
• Obtain and follow up on insurance authorizations for patient treatments.
• Communicate effectively with insurance providers to ensure timely approvals.
• Maintain accurate records of authorization requests and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to address any authorization-related inquiries.
• Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.

• Prior experience obtaining benefit information and prior authorization in a physical therapy setting is required.
• Familiarity with StrataPT, Availity, Inovalon, My Ability, and United Healthcare portal is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Salary:

$6.00-7.00
