Safety and Quality Officer - Mandaluyong

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Develop and prepare comprehensive safety programs for the company, employees, customers, and the environment.
• Assist in the implementation, development, and enforcement of all occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report any health and safety risks that may cause injury, loss of life, or damage to property.
• Maintain an efficient accident recording system and coordinate with concerned departments to eliminate root causes.
• Conduct regular safety audits, including quarterly inspections, and lead safety committee meetings.
• Conduct health and safety orientations and training programs for all new and existing employees.
• Promote safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and response throughout the organization.
• Monitor and perform maintenance of all fire-fighting equipment and ensure all safety tools are in working condition.
• Ensure company compliance with local safety regulations, such as:
• PD 1096 – National Building Code of the Philippines
• PD 1185 – Fire Code of the Philippines
• Submission of annual safety reports to relevant government agencies (e.g., DOLE-BWC, BFP)

✅ Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC):

• Manage all matters concerning quality control and ensure implementation of quality standards across operations.
• Prepare and verify if work instructions are correctly followed and implemented.
• Review and assess the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions taken by the production section.
• Investigate customer complaints and address all quality-related concerns and issues.
• Handle all claims related to product quality and technical specifications.
• Oversee QA inspections, testing, and final approval of products before dispatch.
• Manage the inventory and monitoring of local parts and ensure accuracy of records.
• Monitor and ensure calibration and proper functioning of measuring instruments and equipment.
• Supervise jig development, monitoring, and verification for production accuracy.
• Provide assistance to the production team as needed, including support tasks such as product assembly, packing, and unpacking.
• College Graduate or Graduate of vocational course in electronic, radio/audio technology or other related course.
• With good interpersonal and communication skill
• With good command of leadership and analytical ability
• Can able to handle multiple assignments under high pressure
• Computer literate
• Assertive and self motivated
• With knowledge in QC work
