Quality Control Assistant

About the role

This is a full-time opportunity within our well-established Manufacturing business.

• Performing regular quality inspections on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to identify and address any issues or defects
• Documenting and maintaining accurate records of quality control data, test results, and product certifications
• Collaborating with production teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
• Assisting with the development and implementation of quality control procedures, policies, and training programs
• Providing timely and accurate reports to management on quality performance metrics and compliance
• Ensuring the work environment and equipment adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

• A diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related field
• Preferably has experience or exposure in a quality control or quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry, fresh graduates are also encourage to apply
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately identify and document product defects or quality issues
• Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, sampling methods, and root cause analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with production teams and cross-functional stakeholders
• Familiarity with relevant quality control standards and regulations within the cosmetics industry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve quality objectives
