COMPLIANCE OFFICER
The Compliance Officer ensures the company is in compliance with its outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies and bylaws. Compliance officers have a duty to their employer to work with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk.
Duties & Responsibilities- Assists Corporate Lawyer(s)
- Secures necessary permits and licenses from the local government unit(s) and other government agencies
- Collates and coordinates requirements and other documents to be submitted from the other departments.
- Drafts legal documents.
- Prepares reports on legal matters
- Other tasks may be assigned from time to time.
- Advise management on the company's compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
- Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
- Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
- Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance.
- A graduate of any 4-year course but preferably in law, finance, business management, or any related field.
- 2 - 5 years proven experience in a compliance officer role.
- Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
- Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
