Compliance Officer

COMPLIANCE OFFICER

The Compliance Officer ensures the company is in compliance with its outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies and bylaws. Compliance officers have a duty to their employer to work with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk.

• Assists Corporate Lawyer(s)
• Secures necessary permits and licenses from the local government unit(s) and other government agencies
• Collates and coordinates requirements and other documents to be submitted from the other departments.
• Drafts legal documents.
• Prepares reports on legal matters
• Other tasks may be assigned from time to time.
• Advise management on the company's compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
• Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
• Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
• Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance.

• A graduate of any 4-year course but preferably in law, finance, business management, or any related field.
• 2 - 5 years proven experience in a compliance officer role.
• Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
• Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
