JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative

Performs general receptionist duties and assists in the daily operation of the salon including customer service and retail sales. Ensures that friendly, professional, efficient and courteous service is provided in a clean, well-maintained environment.

Ensures excellent customer service by providing information, resolving problems and answering questions from clients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Follows Emphasis way of greeting, introduction and send-off procedures and standards.
  2. Answers phone inquiries, confirms and schedules appointments.
  3. Ensures that appointments are filled out correctly and that each customer information and type of service required is entered accurately.
  4. Ensures that appointment changes and deletions are altered and that customers are informed as possible in the event of cancellations or stylist absence.
  5. Coordinates with salon staff to carry out customer service accurately.
  6. Resolves minor complaints.
  7. Receives payment for services and keeps records of transactions. Operates cash register.
  8. Prepares and updates required sales reports accurately.
  9. Ensures salon cleanliness, reduction of wait times, delivery of services and customer convenience.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Must perform well under stress and be adaptable to changing work environments
  • Trustworthy in handling monetary matters
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills such as the ability to relate to a wide range of people and effectively handle customer complaints.

Remarks

Applicant with zero knowledge is welcome to apply but must be willing to learn and trainable. Applicant will undergo 6 to 12 months probationary/training period and once the Assessment is passed, will be converted to regular employee status.
