About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join the dynamic team at Ice House Inc. In this full-time role based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, you will be responsible for managing the company's purchasing activities, ensuring a seamless supply chain and contributing to the overall success of the business.

• Collaborate with department heads and inventory managers to identify purchasing needs and develop effective procurement strategies
• Research and evaluate suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to meet the company's requirements
• Prepare and process purchase orders, monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities, including inventory levels and cost information
• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
• Assist with the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
• Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate the receipt, inspection and distribution of purchased goods

• With minimum experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Proficient in data analysis and the use of purchasing software, such as ERP systems
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices in purchasing and procurement
• A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
